The history of Château Clinet dates back to the 19th century. Founded in 1883 by the Arnaud family, the winery has undergone remarkable development over the years.

Château Clinet is located in the municipality of Pomerol on the right bank of the Garonne River, near Saint-Émilion. Pomerol is known for its unique terroirs and limestone soils, which provide ideal conditions for growing Merlot.

The terroir of Château Clinet consists of limestone and iron oxide, which gives the soils a special minerality and drainage. This contributes to the development of grapes of the highest quality.

Château Clinet's wines are characterized by their fullness, elegance, and depth. They are typically characterized by rich aromas of red and black fruits, floral nuances, spices, and a subtle minerality. The tannins are silky and well-integrated, giving the wines remarkable drinkability.

Sustainability: The winery has become increasingly committed to sustainable viticulture and winemaking practices to protect the environment and improve the quality of its wines.

Château Clinet was acquired and operated by the Laborde family in 1998. The family has respected the winery's traditions while incorporating modern techniques to further enhance the quality of the wines.
