wine investment
At Vintage Grapes GmbH, we primarily believe that expensively produced wine should also be enjoyed and consumed at the end of the day after sufficient storage and maturation.
At the same time, we offer our business and private customers the opportunity to collect wines and use them as an investment. If you take a look at the "common" media landscape at the moment, you will quickly see that wine investments are more in demand and sought after than ever before.
Auctions – from well-known auction houses such as Sotheby's or Christie's – where individual bottles, for example from the Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, achieve top prices in the six-figure range are no longer a rarity.
Two examples why it makes sense to invest in wine:
High-quality wines are rare and only offer a limited supply. With every bottle that is opened, the worldwide stock of sought-after and sought-after wines from certain vintages is automatically and naturally reduced. As a result, the demand for wines is constantly increasing worldwide, especially in nations such as China, the USA and Europe.
Another factor that speaks in favor of an investment in wine is that wine, as a classic consumer good - in contrast to conventional traditional investments - brings with it a multitude of attractive advantages. An example of this is that real assets, including wine, can change their value independently of global and economic developments and at the same time have a comparatively low risk (if stored correctly).
It is important for us to state clearly here that we cannot and do not want to make any kind of investment recommendations to our customers. If you are interested, we would be happy to discuss open questions.
