Avignonesi's history dates back to 1974, when Virginie Saverys, a passionate entrepreneur from the Netherlands, acquired the winery. Since then, she has managed to preserve the winery's heritage and tradition while bringing a refreshing modernity to wine production. Her vision and commitment to quality have made Avignonesi one of Tuscany's most celebrated wine producers.

Avignonesi's terroir is a key component of its success. The vineyards extend over several hectares and are characterized by calcareous soils ideal for growing Sangiovese, the main grape variety for Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. The region's unique microclimate also contributes to the production of grapes of exceptional quality.

Avignonesi's wines are legendary. Above all, the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, the winery's flagship wine. This red wine, made from 100% Sangiovese grapes, is distinguished by its elegance, fruity aromas, and remarkable structure. In addition to Vino Nobile, Avignonesi also offers other impressive wines, such as the Desiderio Merlot, the Grifi Sangiovese-Merlot Blend, and the Rosso di Montepulciano.

Avignonesi is also committed to environmental protection and is a proud member of the "Triple-A" - Agricoltori, Artigiani, Artisti, a network of wineries dedicated to biodynamic agriculture and sustainability. This underscores the winery's commitment to preserving the environment and producing wines of the highest quality.
