Domaine Ramonet
Domaine Ramonet is a prestigious and historic winery family in the heart of Burgundy, France. For generations, it has been known for its outstanding Chardonnay white wines, reflecting the region's unique terroirs. The winery was founded in 1930 by Pierre Ramonet and is now managed by his grandsons, Jean-Claude and Noël Ramonet.
Domaine Ramonet's vineyards span some of the Côte de Beaune's finest sites, including Grand Cru and Premier Cru plots in communes such as Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, and Bâtard-Montrachet. These privileged vineyards, combined with the expertise and dedication of the Ramonet family, enable the domaine to produce some of the world's most sought-after white wines.
Domaine Ramonet's wines are distinguished by their elegance, refinement, and minerality. They are produced with the utmost care and respect for nature, emphasizing biodynamic farming methods and gentle winemaking. Ramonet's Chardonnay wines often exhibit notes of citrus, stone fruit, and a subtle minerality characteristic of the region's limestone soils.
Domaine Ramonet's flagship wines are its Grand Crus, including the legendary Montrachet and Bâtard-Montrachet, prized for their complexity and longevity. In addition to the Grand Crus, the estate also produces premium Premier Crus and Village wines that perfectly capture the essence of their respective terroirs.
