Domaine Hudelot-Noëllat is a traditional winery based in Vosne-Romanée and is one of the leading names in the Côte de Nuits. With approximately ten hectares of vineyards, its portfolio includes some of Burgundy's most sought-after sites, including Richebourg Grand Cru, Romanée-Saint-Vivant Grand Cru, and Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru. The Premier Crus of Vosne-Romanée, particularly Les Suchots and Les Beaumonts, are distinguished by their fine structure and aromatic depth.

Vineyard work follows a sustainable approach, with consistent manual labor and minimal use of chemicals. The old vines, many over 50 years old, ensure low yields and high concentration. The grapes are harvested entirely by hand and subjected to rigorous selection to ensure only the best harvest is processed. Fermentation takes place with natural yeasts, often with a moderate proportion of whole-bunch fermentation, which lends the wines additional freshness and structure.

The wines are aged in French oak barrels with a varying proportion of new oak, which can reach up to 50% in the Grand Crus. The wines are known for their silky texture, ripe, dark fruit, and pronounced spiciness, accompanied by floral and mineral notes. The tannins are fine and perfectly integrated, and the acidity ensures freshness and impressive ageing potential. While the wines often appear approachable in their youth, they develop additional depth and complexity with age. Great vintages require at least 10–20 years to develop their full potential.
