Château Gruaud-Larose 2022

Château Gruaud-Larose 2022 is a powerful yet elegant Saint-Julien that beautifully reflects the warmth and ripeness of the vintage. The nose unfolds intense aromas of dark fruits such as blackcurrants, blueberries, and plums, underscored by subtle spice, cedarwood, and hints of licorice and roasted coffee. On the palate, the wine presents a powerful, silky structure and deep, fine-grained tannins, giving it impressive backbone and potential for long aging. The lively acidity provides freshness and underlines the balance between fruit, spice, and mineral nuances. The finish is long and complex, with notes of chocolate and lightly smoky accents that add an additional dimension.
