Produktbeschreibung

Amarone della Valpolicella Chapter Monte Olmi 1996

Tedeschi's Amarone della Valpolicella Capitel Monte Olmi 1996 is a prime example of a mature Amarone from an outstanding single vineyard. The nose unfolds a complex bouquet of dried cherries, ripe plums, and figs, underscored by deep balsamic notes, tobacco, leather, and dark chocolate. On the palate, it is majestic, with velvety yet still present tannins balanced by a wonderfully integrated acidity. Notes of black tea, licorice, and fine wood lend depth, while hints of hazelnut and balsamic herbs reveal themselves in the long, structured finish. The 1996 edition from this iconic cru impressively demonstrates how Amarone gains elegance with age without losing intensity. A wine for connoisseurs, now at the peak of its drinking maturity, but with optimal storage, it can continue to fascinate for years to come.
