Parker about Mölsheim Riesling 2022
The 2022 Mölsheim Riesling 1G opens with a very delicate and refined bouquet with chalky lemon fruit aromas. If you like Chablis—and who doesn't?—and like to find Chablis in Riesling, this is your wine! Even without this bizarre passion, this is delicious Riesling from an excellent limestone terroir in the Zellertal. The acidity is so finely grained and silky and the finish is enormously salty. The fruit is elegant and juicy but very fine, as are the tannins. 12% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in July 2023.

Suckling over Mölsheim Riesling 2022
What wonderfully fine quince fruit this ripe and elegant dry riesling has. Gorgeous elegance on the medium-bodied and very well structured palate. Long, very clean and straight finish that's so precisely balanced. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold. Stuart Pigott Senior Editor

and are therefore cooler than our Hohen-Sülzen vineyards. Deeply rooted in
stony, barren soils of pure limestone with only a small layer of humus mature
The grapes for the Mölsheimer Riesling from first vineyards are well ventilated thanks to

the following spring in a large wooden barrel on the fine lees.
The wine sparkles in bright yellow and presents itself in a disciplined manner on the nose:
The fruit is clearly in the background, saline notes dominate after

immense tension and high inner density. The fruit is more
accompanying rather than as a leitmotif and underlines the saline character of this
structurally characterized wine.
Give this wine some maturity and it will reward you with a
multidimensional taste experience. Great accompaniment to monkfish or
Turbot with beurre blanc and green asparagus.
