Parker about Château Talbot 2022
The 2022 Talbot has turned out nicely in bottle, bursting with aromas of cherries, berries, orange zest and petals, framed by a touch of toasty new oak. Medium to full-bodied, velvety and layered, with a rich core of fruit, ripe tannins and a long, cigar-inflected finish, it's a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot that matured in 60% new oak.
Suckling over Château Talbot 2022
The tannins really are integrated and fill out across the palate. The texture is so beautiful and refined. Medium- to full-bodied and crunchy, with lovely texture and refinement.

Château Talbot 2022
Château Talbot 2022 presents itself as an elegant and complex Bordeaux wine from the renowned Saint-Julien region. Its deep, dark color already heralds a wine of great intensity. Rich aromas of black currants, cherries, and subtle roasted notes unfold on the nose, accompanied by a delicate spice reminiscent of pepper and herbs. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with a robust structure and well-integrated tannins that lend it remarkable length. The wine is harmonious, with fruit flavors well balanced with fresh acidity and a light mineral note. The finish is long and complex, indicating great aging potential. Overall, the 2022 vintage is a classic Talbot, both enjoyable in its youth and promising for years to come.
