Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Spätlese 2022

The Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Spätlese 2022 from Joh. Jos. Prüm is an elegant, finely structured wine that wonderfully showcases the special minerality and freshness of this Mosel vineyard. Seductive aromas of ripe peaches, yellow apples, and citrus fruits unfold on the nose, accompanied by floral notes and a subtle mineral character typical of the terroir. On the palate, the wine is fresh and lively, with well-integrated acidity that perfectly balances the fruity sweetness and lends the wine a pleasant lightness. The texture is silky and smooth, with a clear, precise structure. The long, refreshing finish is accompanied by a fine citrus note and mineral freshness that beautifully round off the wine. A classic Mosel Spätlese Riesling that is a pleasure to drink even in its youth, but will also gain complexity over the years.
