Saar Riesling Double Magnum 2023

The Saar Riesling 2023 from Van Volxem is a high-quality Riesling from the Van Volxem winery, located in the renowned Saar wine region on the Moselle. This wine embodies the characteristic style of the Saar region, often characterized by minerality, elegance, and fresh acidity. The Van Volxem winery relies on organic farming and traditionally cultivates old vines growing on slate soils. These soils give the wine its typical mineral note. The Saar Riesling 2023 captivates with aromas of citrus fruits, green apple, white flowers, and a delicate herbal spice. On the palate, it is fresh, with lively acidity and a remarkable balance between fruit and minerality. The alcohol content is typically around 11.5% to 12.5%, which is common for the region. This Riesling is an excellent accompaniment to light dishes such as fish, seafood, or Asian dishes. Van Volxem stands for clear, precise wines that perfectly express the characteristics of the Saar terroir.
