Parker about Scharzhofberger Riesling Trockenbeerenauslese 2018
The 2018 Scharzhofberger Trockenbeerenauslese AP 76 20 is the other selection of the TBA raisins that were used for both noble sweet wines selected in 2018. Intensely yellow-golden in color and still a bit volatile, with concentrated and candied lemon and stone fruit aromas, this is a dense and concentrated, seamless, highly finessed and subtle, frisky and endlessly salty and vital TBA with finely racy acidity and grapefruit bitters on the finish. This is a generous, intense and highly stimulating TBA in all its brightness, finesse and fruit blossom honey flavors. Tasted from AP 74 20 in March 2021.
