Parker about Château Bellefont Belcier 2004
Although the colossal 2005 Bellefont-Belcier overshadows the 2004, the latter wine is an excellent effort displaying a dark ruby/purple color as well as a sweet perfume of loamy soil nuances interwoven with black cherries, currants, licorice, and a touch of herbaceousness. It is medium-bodied with good concentration, decent acidity, and a spicy, long finish.
