Brunello di Montalcino Greppo Annata 1995

Biondi-Santi Brunello di Montalcino Greppo Annata

It's rare that a wine's origins can be traced back to a single man. However, Brunello di Montalcino owes its existence to the ingenuity of Clemente Santi and his nephew Ferruccio Biondi-Santi, who began vinifying pure Sangiovese Grosso in Montalcino in the 1900s.
Since 1888, the first Brunello vintage in history, Biondi-Santi has produced wines known for their elegance and exceptional longevity.

Biondi-Santi

The traditional winery "Il Greppo" is located southeast of the town of Montalcino in the province of Siena. This is where the success story of Sangiovese viticulture originally began under the watchful eye of the founder of the Brunello wine tradition, Clemente Santi.
