The 2022 Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Auslese opens with a clear and refined yet also intense and tropical as well as floral bouquet. Sweet, refined and delicate on the palate, this is a light yet rich, crystalline and saline selection whose sweetness is not taken away by the mineral substance. This is a rather smooth and refined Auslese with an aromatic finish. 7.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine from AP 18 23 in January 2025.

Aromas of ripe yellow fruits, honey, and candied lemon unfold on the nose, accompanied by a subtle mineral note. On the palate, it is harmonious, with a well-balanced sweet-acid structure that lends it freshness and excitement. The texture is smooth, while notes of peach, apricot, and a subtle herbal spice round out the flavor. The long, precise finish already indicates great aging potential, but also makes the wine very approachable even now.
