Parker about Champagne Vintage Brut Nature & Philippe Starck 2015

The most compelling rendition of this bottling that Roederer has produced to date, the 2015 Brut Nature exhibits inviting aromas of golden orchard fruit, clear honey, dried white flowers and wet stones. Medium to full-bodied, layered and vinous, with a fleshy, concentrated core of fruit, chalky structure and a long, precise finish, it's a Pinot Noir-dominant blend from Cumières that's slightly lower in pressure, making for a more delicate mousse.

Produktbeschreibung

Champagne Vintage Brut Nature & Philippe Starck 2015

Marked by friendship and creative exchange, this wine is primarily the result of a meeting between Frédéric Rouzaud, CEO of Louis Roederer, his cellar master Jean-Baptiste Lécaillon, and designer Philippe Starck. A collaboration that began in 2006 and continued in 2009 and 2012. From the idea of creating a dreamlike, ideal Champagne, Brut Nature was born: a wine that captures the freshness of clay soils in a sunny year, the testimony of an encounter, a soil, a year, creative minds, and the independent spirit inherent in the Champagne House. From all these elements, a Champagne was born that perfectly encapsulates this new exploration of a terroir by Louis Roederer.
