Chardonnay Westhofen 2022

A fully ripe, powerful Chardonnay. The wine was aged in wooden barrels and aged for a long time on the lees. This Chardonnay is bursting with power. Yet the wine is subtle and not overly rich. Ripe quince and pear with subtle roasted aromas captivate the nose. A rich, creamy finish on the palate.
Expansion
After the hand-harvested grapes were separated from the stalks and the berries were lightly crushed. A maceration period of approximately 18 hours releases aromas from the skins, and the must is then pressed.
