Parker about Château de Malle (0.375L) 2001
The de Malle 2001 has a soft apricot and marmalade scented bouquet with just a touch of burnt toffee. The palate is ripe on the entry with a hint of spice. It is quite compact but with good weight in the mouth, although it cuts away abruptly on the marmalade-tinged finish and consequently I have to shave a couple of points off my score.
