Parker about Grande Reserve 2018
The 2018 Grande Réserve is a rich and aromatic blend of 60% Sauvignon Blanc and 40% Chardonnay aged in barriques and 500-liter barrels for 30 months. The nose is exotically sweet and spicy in its oak aromas and is perfectly ripe and concentrated in its fruit. On the palate, this is a tight and tensioned, pure, vital and stimulatingly salty, still Sauvignon-dominated blend with a crunchy, tight and pure finish. Still young and nervous, this is a very promising wine that already tastes very attractive but will benefit from further bottle aging. Very good length. Tasted in August 2021.

Suckling over Grande Reserve 2018
Stunning blood-orange, grapefruit, cassis and dried-pear nose with a subtle touch of toasty oak! So much mineral freshness for this exceptionally warm vintage, and this electrifies the concentrated palate, which drives off into the distance with great energy and determination. Drink or hold.
