Parker about Grüner Veltliner Langenlois Spiegel Magnum 2015
The 2015 Langenlois Spiegel 1ÖTW displays deep, rich, perfectly ripe yet pure, fresh and delicate fruit with herbal and even mineral aromas that give a beautiful transparency and finesse. Full-bodied, rich and mineral on the palate, this is a very elegant, vital and well-structured Grüner Veltliner in beautiful balance. It has fine tannins, lingering salinity and tension. Perfect to drink today but the 2015 will still shine in ten or more years from now. The mirror is more round, rich and feminine than the Käferberg, which is more pure, fresh and piquant due to the partly crystalline soils. Tasted in July 2017.
