Parker about Kirchenstück Riesling Grand Cru 2022
The 2022 Kirchenstück Hohen-Sülzen Riesling GG offers a pure, refined and elegant as well as a juicy nose with very fine limestone notes. Supple and refined on the palate, this is a full-bodied, finely tannic and saline Riesling with a long, savory and grippy finish. This is a promising wine that will gain finesse with bottle age. 12.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in July 2023.

Suckling over Kirchenstück Riesling Grand Cru 2022
At once flinty and fragrant - which is a very unusual combination! - this has concentrated and extremely fine stone fruit aromas, also notes of chamomile blossoms and wild herbs. Then comes the staggering chalky minerality that makes this take off and head into orbit. And in spite of all that, the super-long finish is extremely filigree. From organically grown grapes. Drinkable now, but best from 2024. Stuart Pigott Senior Editor
