Suckling over Retzstadt Pinot Blanc 2022
This dry pinot blanc has an upfront juiciness on the medium-bodied palate. At first it smells of a bonfire that someone threw a bucket of water over, but with some aeration in the glass a pear drop character develops that's more appealing. In spite of the citrusy character at the fresh finish this doesn't quite add up. From organically grown grapes. Drink now. Screw cap. Stuart Pigott Senior Editor

The grapes for this Pinot Blanc are carefully cultivated in the sun-drenched vineyards around Retzstadt. Here, they receive the perfect balance of sun and climate to develop their characteristic aromas and textures. The harvest is carried out by hand to ensure only the finest grapes are selected.
In the cellar, the Pinot Blanc is vinified with utmost precision and craftsmanship. After a gentle pressing, temperature-controlled fermentation takes place, helping to preserve the freshness and delicate aromas of the grapes. Careful aging on the fine lees lends the wine additional complexity and texture.
